Booking Confirmation & Deposit

The Company policy requires a written confirmation and a 30% non-refundable deposit of the full amount of the tour price to confirm the reservation, along with the completed Booking Form. The deposit will be calculated on the entire number of participants on the tour, and only after receiving the deposit payment will we confirm the tour.

Balance Payment

The balance is due no less than 60 days prior to the arrival date. If the tour is booked within 60 days of arrival, we will require the total payment immediately and within 7 days of confirmation of the Tour.

Proof of Payment

Proof of payment must be sent to the Company. Only once the funds have cleared into our account will receipt of payment be confirmed.

Flights, Luggage & Travel Insurance

Road to Nowhere Tours and Safaris CC is not responsible for any delay or cancellation of flights or loss of luggage. Please note that many airlines flying into Windhoek no longer deliver lost luggage to where you are in the country — you either have to collect it at the airport or arrange, at your own cost, for luggage to be transferred from Windhoek International Airport. Please ensure comprehensive travel insurance is taken out from your point of departure.

Luggage space in all vehicle types and aircraft types is limited. Please travel with soft bags rather than hard suitcases.

Accommodation & Itinerary Adjustments

Our selected accommodations are chosen for their exceptional character and location; however, alternatives can be seamlessly arranged to perfectly align with your preferred style of travel or private group requirements.

Cancellation Policy

As per the Company booking Terms and Conditions, the following cancellation fees apply. Once the tour has been confirmed in writing, if the client cancels, they will be liable for cancellation fees as follows:

• More than 61 days before tour: Full deposit (30% of total tour price)
• 60 – 45 days before tour: 50% of total tour price
• 44 – 31 days before tour: 75% of total tour price
• 30 – 0 days before tour: 100% of total tour price

No refund will be made by the Company if a client has booked the Tour and, for any reason, does not undertake the Tour — without having given written cancellation to the Company prior to the start of the tour and received a response from the Company.
