Passport Requirements
The Namibian Government requires all visitors to have at least three consecutive full blank pages in their passport on arrival, and the passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date from Namibia. Proof of onward travel documents are also required.
Upon entry into the country, the passport is stamped with a tourist visa (maximum stay: three months). Citizens of certain countries require visas in advance — please enquire with the nearest Namibian Embassy or your local Immigration Office.
Online Visa
To ensure a completely frictionless arrival, all entry visa arrangements and fees are seamlessly managed and covered on your behalf.
Travelling with Minors
Minors younger than 18 years travelling to Namibia must carry an unabridged birth certificate. Additional documents are required depending on who the minor is travelling with:
An affidavit from the parents giving consent for the minor to travel with that adult is required.
Copies of the legal guardians' or parents' passports or identity documents, plus their contact details.
An affidavit from the other parent giving consent for the minor to travel. A death certificate is required if one parent is deceased.
An affidavit from parents/legal guardians, a letter with contact and residential details of the receiving person, a copy of that person's identity document or passport, and the contact details of the minor's parents/legal guardians.
Cross-Border Travel (Namibia, Botswana & South Africa)
All minors travelling through Namibia, Botswana and/or South Africa borders are required to produce certified copies of unabridged birth certificates in addition to valid passports.
If one parent is not travelling with the child, the other parent's affidavit consenting to the travel must be provided. However, an affidavit will not be required if the father's name does not appear on the child's birth certificate.
Luggage & Airline Advice
Road to Nowhere Tours and Safaris CC is not responsible for any delay or cancellation of flights or loss of luggage. Please note that many airlines flying into Windhoek no longer deliver lost luggage to where you are in the country — you must either collect it at the airport or arrange, at your own cost, for it to be transferred to your location in Namibia.
Luggage space in all vehicle and aircraft types is limited. Please travel with soft bags rather than hard suitcases.
